Armin Yaghini’s technological journey began at six with an Atari, sparking a lifelong interest in computing that developed alongside the evolution of gaming consoles and his early experiences with Microsoft. By age ten, he was delving into Windows NT 4.0, setting the stage for his IT career. His self-taught exploration in Pascal and COBOL highlighted his enthusiasm and respect for computing’s history. By fourteen, his programming and ethical hacking skills had already drawn the attention of major financial institutions.
During his academic tenure at Insearch and the University of Technology Sydney, Yaghini honed his ability to merge IT with business. His career evolved from a technical account manager to a system engineer, where his foresight into technological trends became evident. His pivotal shift to DevOps in 2016, especially at NAB, established him in the realms of Cloud Computing and Security, culminating in his role as a Solution Architect. In this capacity, he crafted innovative solutions that enhanced the technological landscapes of major Australian entities.
Later, transitioning to the public sector with Transport for NSW, Yaghini leveraged the TOGAF and SABSA frameworks to improve transportation infrastructure and security, showcasing his strategic acumen and adaptability. This journey from a young gaming aficionado to a strategic Solution Architect in IT reflects Yaghini’s continual learning and adaptation within the ever-evolving tech landscape.
